Spider Thread Veins Laser Treatments
Most people have an unsightly vein or two they wish they could hide, that prevents them from looking as beautiful as they feel on the inside. These include leg veins, rosacea, broken vessels, and facial spider veins.
Thankfully, you don’t have to live with them, or spend valuable time and money covering them up. Laser treatment helps to diminish the appearance of certain types of veins with no incisions, no downtime, and minimal discomfort. Similarly, laser or Intense Pulsed Light treatment can clear away vascular skin imperfections—and revitalise your face without surgery.
Revitalise Your Legs with Laser Leg Vein Removal
Unlike surgery that leaves scars, laser leg vein removal uses laser light to constrict blood vessels in the legs, causing the veins to visibly disappear. It’s a simple, clinically proven procedure for reducing the appearance of spider veins on your legs that gets you back on your feet quickly — and gets your legs back to their youthful appearance with ease.
Laser treatment for leg veins minimises the appearance of:

Frequently asked questions
We use the ND:YAG laser to treat fine blue and fine red veins (telangiectasia) or more commonly known as thread veins, broken veins or spider veins, which can be found on the face legs and body. Red, blue or purple leg and facial veins can be the result of hormones, sun exposure, and pressure on the area, trauman age or even genetics.
The ND:YAG laser emits a prescribed dose of energy to the vein. The laser “selectively” targets the veins, safely passing through the surrounding tissue, this causes the vein to heat up and cause coagulation, which the body then naturally breaks down and passes out of the body.
Typically three to four treatments are needed for optimum results, although some lesions may clear in a single treatment. This non-invasive treatment is usually between 10 and 30 minutes depending on the size of the area to be treated.
As everyone is very different and will have very individual requirements, you will be invited for a full and detailed FREE consultation prior to the start of a treatment where your individual program will be discussed and explained thoroughly. During your consultation we also carry out a test patch and talk through before and aftercare. As long as no reaction occurs treatment can begin from 24 hours after your test patch.
You will be given an information sheet, which will contain all your pre and post care instructions for you.
The treatment causes only minimal discomfort with no down time afterwards. Any redness or swelling should be gone within a day and you will be able to resume normal activities immediately, although we do ask that you refrain from hot baths/ showers and vigorous exercise for 24 hours, to aid the healing process. The area can also look bruised or inflamed, with the vessel appearing darker for a time after treatment.
